7. Splitting the keyboard

Here is how to split the keyboard without
using the Arranger. This allows you to play
separate sounds with your left and right
hands:
• One sound in the right half (Upper).
• One sound in the left half (Lower). You can
also add an automatic bass line (M.Bass).
See p. 60.
Voici comment partager le clavier sans utiliser
l’Arranger. Cela permet de jouer des sons diffé-
rents de la main gauche et de la main droite:
• Un son dans la moitié droite (Upper).
• Un son dans la moitié gauche (Lower). Vous
pouvez en outre ajouter une ligne de basse
automatique (M.Bass). Voyez p. 60.
(1) Press the [ORGAN] button.
The [ORGAN] icon appears in the display.
(2) Start playing with your left and right
hands.
See “Selecting sounds for the right hand”
(p. 23) for assigning a different sound to the
right hand.
To select another Tone for the Lower part,
you need to press and hold [ORGAN] while
using [A/B], [1]~[8], and possibly also
[VARIATION].
(1) Appuyez sur le bouton [ORGAN].
L’icône [ORGAN] s’affiche à l’écran.
(2) Commencez à jouer de la main gauche et
de la main droite.
Pour savoir comment assigner un son diffé-
rent à la main droite, voyez “Choix des sons
pour la main droite” (p. 23).
Si vous voulez choisir un autre son pour la
partie Lower, vous devez maintenir
[ORGAN] enfoncé tout en utilisant [A/B],
[1]~[8] et éventuellement aussi
[VARIATION].
(3) If you like, you can press [START/STOP] to
start the drum accompaniment of the
currently selected Music Style.
