NTA
est l’abréviation de “Note-to-Arranger” et
représente les notes jouées dans la partie gauche du cla-
vier qui fournissent des informations d’accords à l’Arran-
ger. Ces notes peuvent également être reçues via MIDI. Si
vous souhaitez que l’Arranger utilise ces notes, transmet-
tez-les à l’EM-15 OR sur le canal MIDI 14 (à partir de
l’ordinateur ou d’instruments MIDI externes) et choisissez
“On” ici.
Les notes NTA peuvent uniquement être reçues (elles ne
sont pas transmises). Les notes jouées sur le clavier de
l’EM-15 OR sont effectivement transmises à l’Arranger et
de là aux parties Arranger et utilisées pour produire
l’arrangement dans la bonne tonalité. Comme toutes les
notes des styles musicaux sont transmises via MIDI, il est
inutile de transmettre les notes NTA séparément.

canal Style Select sert à la réception et à la transmission
de changements de programme entraînant un change-
ment de style sur l’EM-15 OR ou l’instrument externe.
Sync Rx (synchronisation MIDI)
Ce paramètre permet de spécifier la façon dont
l’EM-15 OR doit se synchroniser (comme élément asservi)
à un séquenceur, ordinateur, boîte à rythme MIDI, etc.
Cette fonction permet de synchroniser un appareil (ou
une fonction) sur un autre appareil (ou fonction) afin de
les faire démarrer et de les arrêter simultanément et de
fonctionner selon le même tempo (BPM).

NTA
is short for “Note-to-Arranger”, or the
notes you play in the left half of the keyboard to feed the
Arranger with chord information. These notes can also be
received via MIDI. If you want the Arranger to use these
notes, you must transmit them on MIDI channel 14 (from
your computer or external MIDI instrument to the
EM-15 OR) and select “On” here.
NTA notes can only be received (they are not transmitted).
The notes you play on the EM-15 OR’s keyboard are
indeed transmitted to the Arranger, from there to the
Arranger parts, and used to play the accompaniment in
the right key. Since all Music Style notes are transmitted
via MIDI, there is no need to send the NTA notes sepa-
rately.

Style Select channel is used to receive and transmit pro-
gram changes that cause the EM-15 OR or the external
instrument to select another Music Style.
Sync Rx (MIDI synchronization)
Use this parameter to specify how the EM-15 OR should
be synchronized (as slave) to an external MIDI sequencer,
computer, drum machine, etc.
“Synchronization” is a learned term for the fact that one
device (or function) is set to start and stop at the same
time as another device (or function), and to run at the
same tempo (BPM).
