Notes:
After the cable modem is successfully registered on the network, the POWER
LED (LED 10) and the CABLE LED (LED 7) illuminate continuously to indicate
that the cable modem is active and fully operational.
If the optional battery pack is installed, the POWER LED (LED 10) and the
CABLE LED (LED 7) blink periodically and the other lights go out to indicate
that the modem is running on battery power.
Operation without AC power: Most LEDs are disabled if the unit is operating on
battery power. In this mode the POWER LED (LED 10) and CABLE LED (LED 7)
blink periodically to indicate that the unit is operating under battery power but
AC power has failed.
