RESOLUTION/
RECEPTION
When the reception mode is set to FAX, the machine will automatically answer
all calls on four rings and receive incoming faxes.

Using FAX Mode
♦ If you pick up the handset before the machine answers, you can talk to the
other party and/or receive a fax as explained in
Using TEL Mode
on page
52.
♦ Make sure the operation panel is closed, or the paper may jam when
received faxes are printed.
Changing the number of rings
If desired, you can change the number of rings on which the machine answers
incoming calls in FAX mode. Any number from 2 to 5 can be selected.
