B Adjusting the Color Temperature
— COLOR TEMP ADJ Menu
The color temperature is adjusted with the COLOR
TEMP ADJ menu. The color temperature can be set
either commonly to all channels (STD, COL1 and
COL2 menus) or individually for each channel (CH
SET menu).
Use the factory setting value or the adjusted value as
an original value to shorten the adjustment time.
Color temperature adjustment can be made in the
following four ways:
• Knob adjustment (MANUAL menu)
You can adjust the color temperature with the bias
and gain knobs.
• Automatic adjustment using a probe
(PROBE menu)
You can use the following probes for automatic
adjustment of color temperature. Except for the Sony
BKM-14L, a cable is required to connect the color
analyzer to the monitor.
Before adjusting the color temperature
We recommend that you perform the automatic
adjustment using the AUTO menu [A12] of the
CONTROL PRESET ADJ menu before adjusting the
color temperature.
