Using the Plastic Pen
The plastic pen can be used on the touchpad for drawing or for signing
your name with the ScribblePad software. You can store the pen in the
pen holder on the left side of the LCD screen. The method for inserting
and removing the pen differs, depending on your model.
To use the pen compartment for the PCG-505TS SuperSlim Notebook

Press the bottom of the pen compartment to open the compartment.

Slide the pen in or out of the compartment to store or remove it.

When you are ready to close the pen compartment, press the top of
the compartment until it clicks into place.
To use the pen slot for the PCG-505TX SuperSlim Notebook
For the PCG-505TX, the pen is stored in a slot. To insert the pen, put the
tip of the pen into the bottom end of the slot, then press the pen into the
slot. To remove the pen, press the pen down and pull it out.

The supplied plastic pen is designed to be used only on the touchpad. Do not use this pen
on any surface other than the touchpad including the computer's LCD; it may damage the
LCD.
