Connection to the computer
The Reader cannot be operated.
The Reader cannot be operated when connected to a
computer via USB.
The Reader cannot be recognized by your computer.
A USB hub or USB extension cable is used for the
connection. Connection via an extension cable or USB
hub is not guaranteed. Connect the USB cable directly to
the computer.
Disc
onnect the USB cable fr
om the Reader, then
reconnect it after a while.
If the Reader is locked
, it will not be recognized by your
computer , set [Device Lock] to [Off] (
93).
While the Reader is c
onnected to a computer, do not turn
on, restart, wake up from sleep mode, or shut down the
computer. These operations may influence the Reader
unrecognizable by the computer. Disconnect the Reader
from the computer before performing these operations.

se the supplied USB cable.
There ma
y be a malfunction with the USB port on your
computer. Connect the supplied USB cable to another
port on the computer.
It may take a while f
or the software to be recognized by
the computer. Wait for a moment.
