Using the Remote Commander
A remote commander may be supplied with your computer to enable various remote operations, depending on the model you
purchased. If not, you can additionally purchase a remote commander.
The infrared receiver for communications with the remote commander supplied with VGN-A series models is located on the
supplied left external speaker. Make sure to attach the computer to the supplied A/V port replicator and connect the speakers
to the computer before using the remote commander.
If your computer is one of VGN-FS series models, you need to connect the supplied external infrared receiver to the computer
before using the remote commander.
