Thisuser'sguidegivesageneraloverviewoftheevaluationmodule(EVM)andprovidesageneral
descriptionofthefeaturesandfunctionstobeconsideredwhileusingthismodule.Thismanualis
applicabletotheADS6122,ADS6123,ADS6124,ADS6125,ADS6142,ADS6143,ADS6144,ADS6145,
andADS61B23,whichcollectivelyarereferredtoasADS61xxandADS61B23.TheADS61xx/ADS61B23
EVMprovidesaplatformforevaluatingthelow-power,single-channelADS61xx/ADS61B2312-and14-bit
analog-to-digitalconverters(ADC),andtheADS61B2312-bitADCwithbufferedanaloginputunder
varioussignal,reference,andsupplyconditions.
ThisdocumentshouldbeusedincombinationwiththerespectiveADCdatasheet.
Usingthequick-startprocedure,manyuserscanbeginevaluatingtheADCinashorttime.Thequick-start
procedureusesthedefaultconditionsoftheEVMasshippedfromthefactory.Inaddition,thequick-start
guideconfigurestheADCinaCMOSoffsetbinarydataformat.Userswhohavemodifiedtheboardmay
findthequick-startproceduretobeineffective.
