Remove the empty staple cartridge
● Lift the cartridge slightly and slide it out.

Open the stapler cover.
The STAPLE symbol flashes on the staple
sorter when the following occur:
● The stapler of the staple sorter has run out of
staples and this message appears:
Set staple cartidge
● A staple has jammed in the stapler and this
message appears:
