Servicing the Hard Disk Drive and Compact Flash Card
When removing or installing a hard disk drive, first turn the touchcomputer off and
remove the power supply connection.
To Install the Hard Disk Drive
1. Place the unit face down and remove the back grill. Then remove the 6 screws as
shown below and remove the back cover insert.
2. If you have an existing hard drive, remove the existing hard drive by pulling down
and to the left.
3. Remove the the hard drive caddy from the old hard drive and mount it into the
new hard drive:
4. Grasp the handle of the caddy with the new hard drive and slide the hard drive
into the hard drive space. Push the hard drive up until it snap locks into the
connector.
5. Replace the back cover insert, 6 screws and back grill.
