LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY
The Uniden@Bearcat'" 50XL isequipped with a custom designed liquid crystal
display to indicatechannel number, frequencyand lockout mode.All LCDshave
a preferred viewing angle where the display contrast is maximum. The best
viewing angle depends on design consideration, temperature and battery con-
dition. Optimum viewing of the Uniden@Bearcat'" 50XL isachieved by holding
the unit at about 45 degrees. This also provides the best position for using the
keypad.
