The system is designed to operate in a typical office environment. Choose a site that is:
· Clean and free of airborne particles (other than normal room dust)
· Well ventilated and away from sources of heat including direct sunlight
· Away from sources of vibration or physical shock
· Isolated from strong electromagnetic fields produced by electrical devices
· In regions that are susceptible to electrical storms, we recommend you plug your system into a surge suppressor and
disconnect telecommunication lines to your system during an electrical storm
· Provided with a properly grounded wall outlet
· Provided with sufficient space to access the power supply cords, because they serve as the product’s main power disconnect
CAUTION:
• To reduce the risk of fire, use only No. 26 AWG or larger telecommunication line cord.
• Do not use this product near water, for example, near a bath tub, wash bowl, kitchen sink or laundry tub, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool.
• Avoid using a telephone (other than a cordless type) during an electrical storm. There may be a remote risk of electric shock from lightning.
• Do not use the telephone to report a gas leak in the vicinity of the leak.
• Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedure other than those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation.
