4.6.1.24 Gateway menu
Allows you to set the Gateway.
• Be sure to set the Gateway after consulting your network administrator.
4.6.1.25 8254E only- Front Interlace
Allows you to set the front treatment function. This function is applied when the banding appears at the
beginning of a print.
4.6.1.26 8254E only - Media Cut menu
Allows you to set up media cutting
Setup item Setting Description
Gateway 000.000.000.000 to
<192.168.001.254> to
255.255.255.255
Changes the Gateway through the following keys.
• Pressing the [+] key increases the setting value.
• Pressing the [–] key decreases the setting value.
• Pressing the [Enter] key changes the setting for the
next segment.

• Pressing the [Cancel] key saves the setting and shifts
to the previous menu.

Front Interlace Off The front treatment function is not used.
<On> The front treatment function is used.

MediaCut <Off> The media feed is not performed after printing.
Manual Feeds media to the Media Cut position after printing.
Use a regular razor blade available from hardware
stores.
4.10.1.2 8254E Cutting media when the Media
Cut menu is set to “Manual”
