• Do not open the front cover during printing. If the front cover is opened, printing will
be interrupted.
• Printing restarts if you close the front cover. However, the interruption may cause a
loss in print quality.
4.3 Printer status
This chapter explains printer status.
4.3.1 Ready to Print
Printing is possible when media is loaded. The various functions for printing can be performed on the
control panel.
4.3.2 Setup menu display
The various settings and functions regarding printing can be made from the control panel.
The display contents in the LCD monitor of the control panel are as follows.
4.3.3 Changing printer status
Follow the procedure below to change printer status.
(1) Changing Standard menu display to Setup menu display
Press the [Menu] key when "Ready to Print" is displayed . "Menu 1: Setup>" displays in the control panel.
