Use of Xerox FS 3270 serial port
The following connections are available in the serial plug:
pin 1 NC
pin 2 RX data
pin 3 TX data
pin 4 DTR
pin 5 GND (Signal)
pin 6 DSR (Busy)
pin 7 RTS (always high)
pin 8 N.C.
pin 9 N.C.
Example: Cable connections to HP LaserJet III:
