TCPIP 232 DEBUGGING MODE
In the TCPIP DEBUGGING mode, the data from the network will display on the monitor. However, the VSSI-Pro has a
limited buffer size so if you connect to a busy network and the buffer is overrun, then data will be lost. For normal ATM
data, the buffer is sufficient but care must be taken in monitoring the buffer status when doing data dumps. This is useful
to verify the TCPIP 232 Adapter is connected properly and sending data to the VSSI-Pro.
1. Press the “Up” or “Down” button to move the cursor to “TCPIP DEBUGGING” and press “Set” to enter and change
the IP address to the same as the ATM’s IP address.
EXAMPLE: If the ATM’s IP address is 192.168.0.141, set the address on the TCPIP 232 Adapter using this
menu.
