If you want to use the EAP-TLS authentication, you must observe
the following instructions in the indicated order.
Otherwise the TPG60 cannot be addressed in the network. In this
case you have to reset the TPG60 parameters; see: ’How to Reset
Parameters to their Default Settings?’ Ö36.
Requirements
; Create a certificate request on the TPG60; see: ’How to Create a
Certificate Request for CA Certificates?’ Ö66.
; Create a CA certificate using the certificate request and the
authentication server.
; Install the CA certificate on the TPG60; see: ’How to Save CA
Certificates in the TPG60?’ Ö67.
; Install the root certificate of the authentication server on the
TPG60; see ’How to Save Root Certificates in the TPG60?’ Ö68.
; Enable the authentication method 'EAP-TLS' on the TPG60.

Proceed as follows:
1. Start the TPG Homepage.
2. Select Configuration – Protection.
3. Select Authentication.
4. Select EAP-TLS from the Authentication list.
5. Click Save to confirm.
ª The settings are saved.
