ONFIGURATION
You can use the 3Com Web-based configuration software
to configure the cable modem.
NOTE: If you do not currently have a Web browser installed
on the computer, you can find the two most popular
browsers, Netscape Navigator and Microsoft’s Internet
Explorer, on the Cable Connections CD included with the
modem.
Open your Web browser and point it to the following URL:
http://149.112.50.65
The Configuration Screens menu appears.
Here is an overview of the options on the Configuration
Screens menu:

Cable Modem Configuration: Click this option to
launch the Cable Modem Configuration screen, which
displays the cable modem’s MAC address, serial
number, software version, hardware version, and type
of cable modem.
