Main Menu\System Management\Expansion\
The Expansion Menu (Figure 5-10) is used to enable or disable expansion capabilities for up
to four Total Access 1248 units (one host and three clients). The expansion mode should only
be enabled on the host units.

Option Description Function
2 Clear Packet Counts This option is used to clear all packet counts.

Field Description
Mode This field displays the mode status: Enabled (Client) or
Disabled.
Maintenance Packets This field displays the number of packets that have been
transmitted and received.
Expansion In Link This field displays the status of the incoming expansion link.
Expansion Out Link This field displays the status of the outgoing expansion link.
