And for the destination drive number, type:
1<RETURN>
FID will then ask for the name of the file to
copy, so type:
FID<RETURN>
After which, FID will give you a chance to
either press <ESC> if you made an entry error,
or <RETURN> to begin the copy.
Assuming your entries were correct, type:
<RETURN>
FID will then being asking for the source and
destination diskettes just like CLONE did. The
source diskette is your DOS 3.3 System Master
(or the CLONE of it if you are using an Elite
Three), and the destination diskette is your
“full capacity system master”. Once you insert-
ed the diskette FID requested, press:
<RETURN>
to tell FID to continue.
FID will tell you when it has finished the copy,
and wait for you to press <RETURN’>. So go ahead
and press:
<RETURN>
and FID will redisplay its main menu.
