With the support of the Intel

vPro
™
Technology, the items in this menu allow you
to congure the Intel
®
Management Engine (ME) subsystem and enable the IntelIntel
®
Active Management Technology. Select an item then press <Enter> to display the Management Technology. Select an item then press <Enter> to display the
conguration options.
To enable the following functions, you must install the Intelinstall the Intel
®
Management
Engine Interface. See page 3-3 for details.

When the Intel AMT Support item is set to [Enabled], the vPro Technology
Conguration menu will change into the following one.
ASF Support [Disabled]
Allows you to enable or disable the Alert Standard Format (ASF).

ME HECI Conguration
ME-HECI [Enabled]
When set to [Enabled], Host Embedded Communication Interface (HECI)
provides an interface for the exchange of message between the host
software and the ME rmware. Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
ME-IDER [Disabled]
Allows you to enable or disable the IDE Redirection interface by which
the remote management console is able to direct the client PC to boot.
