2.4.1 Connected Type
Specify the WAN connection type required by your Internet Service Provider, then
click “OK” button to provide detailed conguration parameters for the selected
connection type.
Dynamic IP address: You will obtain an IP address from your ISP automatically.
Static IP address: you can use the xed IP address assigned by your ISP to access the
internet service.
PPPoE: PPPoE is a common connection type used for xDSL.
PPTP: PPP Tunneling Protocol can support multi-protocol Virtual Private Network (VPN)
L2TP: Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol can support multi-protocol Virtual Private Network
