Global Settings lets you specify settings that will
apply to all applications running under Display Man-
ager.
Zoom
Zoom lets you enable a magnified or “zoomed” view
of a region of the screen under and around the
mouse cursor. The zoomed view appears on the
monitor on which the mouse is not pointing.
Enable zoom feature lets turn on or off the zoom
feature (default: selected or enabled).
Hot keys to control zoom features lets you
specify hot key combinations other than the de-
faults. Press any valid key, including function keys,
(you cannot use
ESC, ENTER, TAB, SPACEBAR,
PRINT SCREEN, or BACKSPACE) you want to add.
Zoom update frequency (updates per second)
lets you set the update or “refresh” frequency of
the magnified view in number of times per sec-
onds (default: 8; can be set from 1 to 100 times
per second). Normally, the magnified view is up-
dated whenever the mouse cursor is moved and
is updated at a fixed interval when the mouse
cursor is still.
Delay before switching zoom monitor (msec)
lets you set the time delay in milleseconds (de-
fault: 500; can be set from 0 to 1000 milleseconds)
before the zoomed view switches monitors when
you move your mouse cursor from one monitor
to the other. Set to 0 for instant switching of the
zoom window.
