The source for vertical SYNC is hard-set to the channel 1 input. The only function that the
user can control is to enable or disable the vertical interval switching. This function can be
enabled and disabled in the same manner as the reclocking function.
Status will report a unacceptable or absent input signal as "Invalid," and report an
acceptable signal as "Valid." The status of input SYNC will always be reported whether or
not the function is enabled.
