In the example above, Input 1 is not split; because of this, the output lamps that are connected to
Input 1 are lit. All un-selected outputs that are not split will blink, indicating they are available
for this connection as well. If the user presses an output when already connected to the input, that
output lamp will blink, and will be marked for disconnection when the user presses the SELECT
button. If the user presses a blinking output button, the lamp will stop blinking and remain on and
will be marked for connection when the SELECT button is pushed.
If the input is split the following screen will appear:
ESCAPE

INPUT NUMBER
A/V CONNECTIONS
This indicates that input 1 is split and has a S-Video input on “A” and “B” and a composite on “C”.
The user will then select either the S-Video, or composite level using the A, B, or C buttons. When
the user makes the selection the LED below the selection will be lit, if the selection is S-Video
the A&B or B&C lamp will be lit. This makes it intuitive for the user to determine what is being
represented on the front panel. If the user selects S-Video all S-Video output connections to this
input will be lit, and all S-Video on “A” outputs that are not connected to this input will blink. The
same goes for the composite on “C”, if selected, all “C” output connections will be lit, and all “C”
outputs will blink.
