4. GUI Installation and Operation
GUI Operation

Click the Setup Tab on the MatrixPRO Control application. A sample tab is shown below:

The Setup Tab allows the user to select the method of MatrixPRO remote control, either
RS-232 or EtherNet. Please note:
• The IP address must be manually set.
• MatrixPRO does not automatically search for and find a dynamic IP address.
• The default address is 192.168.000.242.
• Clicking on the Front Panel Lockout check box disables the keyboard on the
MatrixPRO front panel. A check-mark appears in this box when Front Panel
Lockout is activated.
• Clicking the Vertical Switching check box causes the MatrixPRO to switch video
inputs and outputs during the vertical interval of the input reference signal. The
reference source is hard-set to Channel 1 input SYNC.
