Catalyst Trap Receiver Table
Catalyst Trap Receiver Table
This table lists the addresses of Network Management Stations that should
receive trap messages from the Catalyst Stack Application. Double-click a
table entry to access the entry-speciÞc Catalyst Trap Receiver table, which
allows you to change the items displayed in the table.
To access the Catalyst Trap Receiver table, do the following:
1. Within the Application view, highlight the CATStackApp icon (icon mode)
or model type name (list mode).
2. From the Icon Subviews menu, select Trap Receiver.
The Catalyst Trap Receiver table provides the following information:
The Trap Receiver Table and its corresponding entry-speciÞc views provide
the following information:
Type
Displays the status of this entry. Setting this value to ÒInvalidÓ removes the
corresponding entry from the Trap Receiver Table. To add a new entry to the
Trap Receiver Table, set this value to ÒValidÓ for an IP address that is not
already in the table.
Addr
Displays the IP address of the Network Management Station receiving the
traps.
Community
Displays the community string used for trap messages sent to this trap
receiver.
Catalyst VLan Table
The Catalyst VLan table provides a list of Virtual LAN entries, which are
determined by the LANs within the system. To access the Catalyst VLan
table, do the following:
1. Within the Application view, highlight the CATStackApp icon (icon mode)
or model type name (list mode).
2. From the Icon Subviews menu, select VLan.
The VLan table view provides the following information:
VLan Index
IdentiÞes the Virtual LAN associated with this module port.
Spanning Tree
Indicates whether the Spanning Tree protocol is enabled for this Virtual LAN.
Possible values are Enabled and Disabled.
