Follow one of the procedures below to stop sending a document before transmission is completed.

The fax asks you to confirm that you want to cancel sending.

• Sending is not cancelled until you press [A].
• If you change your mind and want to continue sending,
press [#].
• The fax prints an ERROR TX REPORT. (see p. 8-11)

When you cancel sending, you may need to open the operation panel to remove the document from the
Automatic Document Feeder (ADF). See Jams in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), p. 9-2.
