5. Appendix A: DMS100 Switch Datafill
Example
The datafills on DMS100 needs to be configured in order to work with the
Unified ICM. The following example depicts the datafill on a DMS100
Switch:
A.1. T A B L E : M P C
MPCNO MPCIOC IOCCCT EQ DLDFILE
3 0 28 1X89BB MPC403AC **** CompuCALL Link to Cisco Peripheral
Gateway (PG)
5 2 12 1X89BB MPC403AC **** CompuCALL Back-up Link to Cisco PG
Notes:
1. MPCIOC is actual DMS IOC Number (i.e. 0 or 1 or 2 or 3, etc)
2. IOCCCT is in reference to actual IOC Card Number of 1X89 card on
IOC Shelf (i.e. card 0 = ioccct 0, card 1 = iocct 4, …..card 8 = ioccct
32)
3. 1X89 must be 1X89BA or BB if running 56K and must match actual
card installed)
4. DLDFILE can be MPC403AC or MPC003AC (Nortel recommends
MPC403AC)
A.2. TABLE: MPCLINK

Notes:
1. MPCNO must match MPCNO assigned in table MPC
2. LINKNO must be set to 3 when configuration is running 56K
3. Even though the LINKNO is 3 for 56K the cable connected to the back
of the IOC Shelf must be physically connected to Link 1. Link 1 is the
V35 Link.
