Caution To comply with GR-1089-Core intrabuilding lightning-immunity requirements, you must use shielded
(screened) cable that is grounded at both ends.
Port Adapter Compliance Information
The following section provides compliance information for the port adapters used in the Cisco uBR7200
series routers.
FCC Part 68 Notice
The equipment complies with Part 68 of the FCC rules. A label on the bottom of the chassis contains the
FCC registration number among other information. If requested, this information must be provided to
the telephone company.
This equipment cannot be used on telephone company-provided coin services. Connection to the Party
Line Service is subject to state tariffs.
If this equipment causes harm to the telephone network, the telephone company will notify you in
advance that temporary discontinuance of service may be required. If advance notice is not practical, the
telephone company will notify you as soon as possible. You will be advised of your right to file a
complaint with the FCC if you believe it is necessary.
The telephone company may make changes in its facilities, equipment, operations, or procedures that
might affect the operation of the equipment. If this happens, the telephone company will provide advance
notice in order for you to make the necessary modifications to maintain uninterrupted service.
If you experience trouble with this equipment, contact Cisco Systems for repair and warranty
information. If the problem is causing harm to the telephone network, the telephone company might
request that you remove the equipment from the network until the problem is resolved. All repairs should
be handled by authorized Cisco Systems service personnel.
We recommend that you install an AC surge arrestor in the AC outlet to which this device is connected.
This action will help to avoid damage to the equipment caused by local lightning strikes and other
electrical surges.
This equipment uses the Uniform Service Order Code (USOC) jacks that is described in Table 3.
