2 Preparing the Print Server
2-1 Connecting to the Printer
If the main unit of the print server is already installed in the printer, proceed to 2-2, Connecting to
the Network (p.9).
CAUTION
•Toinstalltheprintserver,pleasecontactyourCitizenSystemsdealerorservice
person.
•Donotpulltheprintserveroutoftheprinterandre-installit.Thiscouldcause
malfunctioning.
Preparingtheprinter
1) Turn off the printer.

2) Remove the power cord from the printer.
3) If another interface board is installed in the
printer, remove it.
