2 Lift the connector latch and, using the pull-tab, disconnect the optical-drive cable
from the system board.
3 Peel the optical-drive cable from the fan.
4 Remove the coin-cell-battery cable from the routing guides on the
optical-drive bracket.
5 Remove the screw that secures the optical-drive assembly to the palm-rest assembly.
6 Lift the optical-drive assembly at an angle and release it from the tab on the
palm-rest assembly.
