Removal and replacement procedures
5. If it is necessary to replace the hard drive bracket or connector, follow these steps:
a. Disconnect the hard drive connector 1 from the hard drive.
b. Remove the 4 isolators 2 from the 4 corners of the hard drive bracket.
c. Remove the 4 Phillips PM3.0×4.0 screws 3 that secure the hard drive bracket to the hard drive.
d. Lift the bracket 4 straight up to remove it from the hard drive.
Reverse this procedure to reassemble and install the hard drive.
