In a non-hot-plug drive cage, loosen the bracket thumbscrew, and then remove the bracket assembly
from the drive cage.
o In a hot-plug drive cage, loosen the backplane thumbscrew, and then remove the backplane
assembly from the drive cage.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Front I/O module
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server (on page 27).
2. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
