Remove the memory module (2) by pulling the module away from the slot at an angle.
NOTE: The computer uses two memory slots. The top slot houses the expansion memory module.
The bottom slot houses the primary memory module.
Reverse this procedure to install a memory module.

NOTE: The Bluetooth module spare part kit does not include a Bluetooth module cable. The Bluetooth
module cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number 693306-001.

Before removing a Bluetooth module, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4. Remove the battery (see
Battery on page 50).
5. Remove the service cover (see
Service cover on page 52).
Remove the Bluetooth module:

Disconnect the Bluetooth module cable (1) from the system board.
