HP Vectra with Windows NT 4.0 Workstation.
D-Link DFE-500TX ProFAST 10/100 PCI Ethernet adapter and driver
disk version 971201.
Driver: DLKPCI.SYS, version 4.22.1
Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Workstation media.
Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4 media.
Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Server system that supports NetBEUI, NWLink
IPX/SPX, and NWLink NetBIOS network protocols.
Device Configuration
Procedure
1 With the HP Vectra turned off, install the D-Link DFE-500TX network
adapter into a PCI slot.
2 Connect network cable media to the D-Link DFE-500TX network adapter.
3 Power on the system and log into Windows NT with administrator
privileges.
4 Open the “Network Properties” window and agree to install “Windows NT
Networking”.
5 With “Wired to the Network” checked, click on “Next”.
6 Click on the option to “Select from list” then on “Have Disk”.
7 Insert the D-Link DFE-500TX driver disk into the floppy drive.
8 Highlight the adapter labeled “D-Link DFE-500TX PCI Fast Ethernet
Adapter (Rev B/C)” and click “OK”.
