Preparing for Your New Printer
Required power cord (supplied with printer):
• Part No. 0506213 North America (UL/CSA approved), length 19.7 feet (6 m),
requires FRM #0901565 if using phase converter (see “Electrical Power” on
page 2); OR
• Part No. 0602650 Europe (Harmonized), length 19.7 feet (6 m)
Optional auxiliary power for vacuum system:
Supplied 24 volt DC power supply with universal adapters, connected from the auxil-
iary power jack on the vacuum/pressure assembly to one of the following:
• Printer’s patch panel power outlet (configuration as shipped) — if the power cord
to the printer is removed, power to the vacuum system is removed. If the printer
standby power switch is switched off, but the power cord is not removed, power to
the vacuum system is preserved.
• Wall outlet — 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, provides temporary power to the vacuum
system when it is necessary to remove power from the printer for service.
• UPS — customer-supplied uninterruptable power supply, output 100-240 VAC, 50/
60 Hz, minimum of 15 watts of power, provides battery backup to the vacuum sys-
tem in the event of a power failure. UPS is connected to the electric wall outlet.
