z Mode: Network mode. Table 3-4 lists the network modes.

z PPP: Point-to-Point protocol is widely applied on the WAN. It supports the
synchronous mechanism and the asynchronous mechanism, and forms a set of
safety solutions to ensure safe transmission. D-20 adopts this protocol in the data
transmission on WAN.
z PPP Username: The user name used in the communication when the PPP
protocol is adopted, provided by the Internet service provider (ISP).
z PPP Password: The password used in the communication when the PPP protocol
is adopted, provided by the Internet service provider.
