Can I browse the internet from the
Local (laptop) if the Remote
(desktop) is connected to it?
Yes, if the Remote has an Internet connection, you can launch
Windows Explorer, on the Remote, from your Local computer and
browse.
What happens if I reboot either
computer?
Wait for few seconds and you will then see an icon on the computer
stating that “Laptop KVM software running”. The utility software auto
start. Go to “My Computer” in the Local computer and click on the
GCS661U icon that is showing. The connection between computers
will be established.
After doing step right above, the
GCS661U is still not functioning.
Unplug and then re-plug the USB cables on both computers. You will
then see an icon on the computer stating that “Laptop KVM software
running”. The utility software auto start. Go to “My Computer” in the
Local computer and click on the GCS661U icon that is showing. The
connection between computers will be established.
