6 Troubleshooting
6.1 Unable To Print
This chapter explains the troubleshooting procedures for possible malfunc-
tions.
Perform the troubleshooting procedures described below if this machine
does not print after you have sent a print job.
Symptom Probable Cause Action
The message “No
printers are connect-
ed.” or “Print error”
appears.
The printer driver selected for
printing is not compatible with the
printer controller.
Check the printer name selected.
The network cable, parallel cable,
or USB cable is disconnected.
Check that the cable is connected
properly.
