Chapter 6. ThinkPad Tablet 2 options
Your tablet might come with a ThinkPad Tablet 2 Dock or a ThinkPad Tablet 2 Bluetooth Keyboard
with Stand. If your tablet does not come with one, you can purchase one from Lenovo at
http://www.lenovo.com/accessories/services/index.html.
The ThinkPad Tablet 2 Dock and the ThinkPad Tablet 2 Bluetooth Keyboard with Stand are option devices
that Lenovo designed specically for the ThinkPad Tablet. These options provide convenience and make
your tablet easier to use for work, study, and entertainment.

This topic gives an introduction to the ThinkPad Tablet 2 Bluetooth Keyboard with Stand (hereafter called
Bluetooth keyboard).

1 Bluetooth keyboard
Works as a Bluetooth keyboard with optical TrackPoint and hot keys.
2 3 Optical TrackPoint
The optical TrackPoint is a cursor-positioning device that enables to you to point, select, drag and scroll
without moving your ngers from a typing position.

4 Hot keys
The hot keys enable you to control many features of your tablet by pressing a single key. Refer to “Using the
Bluetooth keyboard” on page 29 for more information.
5 Stand
The stand holds your tablet in an upright position.
