Connect the Controller to Your
Windows-Based PC
After installing the Xbox 360
Controller for Windows software,
simply connect the Xbox 360
Controller for Windows to your
computer’s USB port. To disconnect,
pull out the connector. Be sure to
pull on the connector, not the cable.
After installing the Xbox 360
Controller for Windows software
and connecting the controller to
your computer’s USB port, you can
verify that the controller is working
by clicking Game Controllers in the
Windows Control panel. See
your game manual to determine
whether your game supports the
Xbox 360 Controller.
