Monitor Speaker Mode
Values:

Description:M0 Speaker always off.
M1 Speaker on until carrier signal detected.
M2 Speaker always on when modem is off-hook.
M3 Speaker on until carrier is detected, except while dialing.

Modulation Handshake
Values:

Description:N0 Modem performs handshake only at communication standard specified by
S37
and the

command.
N1 Modem begins handshake at communication standard specified by
S37
and the

mand. During handshake, fallback to a lower speed can occur.
