Default Device Configuration
The following is a description of default configurations for a Motorola 4300-54, and 4300-58 device:
- 2.4 GHz radio is pre-configured (any other frequency is not automatically enabled, even if
purchased.) The following sections will describe how to enable the additional radio and
network mesh.
- Management VLAN is set at 4095
- VLAN Membership is set at 0-4095
Configuring a 4300 Device Mesh from 2.4 to 4.9, 5.4, or 5.8
The following procedure describes the necessary steps required to change an out-of-the-box device
from an 802.11 b/g mesh to an 802.11 a mesh with the use of the MOTOMESH Duo 2.0
MeshManager element management system application (also known as DeviceManager) prior to field
deployment.
