While pressing the button, slide
out the PCU, until it stops.

Raise the green handle and slide
out the PCU toward you.
Important
❒ Do not tilt or drop the removed
PCU. Moving it suddenly can
cause toner leakage.
❒ Do not change the toner when
there is no PCU installed.

Take the new PCU from the box
and, while holding the handle, re-
move the plastic bag.
Important
❒ Do not drop or mishandle the
removed PCU.
❒ Do not touch the side of the
PCU.

Put the old PCU (removed in step

E) into the plastic bag from step F

keeping it at the same angle as it
was when installed. Then, zip up
the plastic bag.
Note
❒ Do not tilt the used PCU after
taking it out of the machine. If
you do, toner might leak out.

Remove the two red sheets from
the PCU in the order shown.
Important
❒ Remove the PCU keeping it lev-
el as shown. Otherwise, the ton-
er inside might leak out.
❒ After removing the black pro-
tection sheet, do not touch the
inside of the unit or the green
parts.

Align the new PCU with the rail
inside the machine. Slide the unit
all the way in.
