1.1 GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
The SATO LM 408e and 412e are dual-use (Thermal Transfer and Direct Thermal) high
performance labeling solutions designed for logistics and manufacturing sectors. Based
mechanically on the field-proven CL ‘enhance’ series, the LM408e and LM412e promise
reliable operation and consistent performance at a reasonable cost.
Key features of the two models in the LM Basic series are:
• Low cost 4-inch printer for Logistics and Warehousing
• Backlit two-line 16-character alphanumeric LCD panel
• Clear printing at a fixed resolution of 203dpi/305dpi
• Support for a wide range of I/O interfaces
• Supports SATO Barcode Programming Language for enhanced customizability
• Field-proven label and ribbon path from the acclaimed CL ‘enhance’ series
The two models support all popular barcodes, including 2-D codes. Seven human-read-
able fonts and two fast and efficient vector fonts, are resident in memory, providing liter-
ally thousands of combinations of type styles and sizes.
