3.4.1. Set-Up Menu:
Set-up is used to refer to the parameters that are common to all waste types.
The menu will look something like this:

The available menu parameters are defined as follows:
Background Time:
Background time, in seconds. Enter a value between 20 and 10,000.
Background Method:
Two methods of background count are incorporated in the BM-286A. They are
selectable from the Set-Up Menu. The Rolling background method is the
standard for TSA products. For a count time of N seconds, the count is updated
every N/10 seconds, and the sum of the last 10 count periods are averaged to
determine the current background. The Standard background method simply
counts for N seconds.
