mac-address-table static
Use this command to map a static address to a destination port.
Use the no form to remove an address.
Syntax
mac-address-table static mac-address {interface | discard}
[action]
no mac-address-table static mac-address [discard]
• mac-address - MAC address.
• interface
• ethernet unit/port
- unit - This is device 1.
- port - Port number.
• port-channel channel-id (Range: 1-4)
• discard - Discards all packets matching the destination
address.
• action -
- delete-on-reset - Assignment lasts until switch is reset.
- permanent - Assignment is permanent.
Default Setting
No static addresses are defined. The default mode is
permanent.
