Symptom Cause/Remedy
The keyboard enters
energy-saving mode
and LCD indicators
turn off.
After the receiver was
connected, it takes
some time until the
keyboard can be used.
The keyboard does not
work.
S1-S3 buttons do not
work as supposed.
cPress any key on this unit or turn ON/OFF the keyboard
power.
cIf Windows, a software program, or another USB device
is currently busy, it may take a while for the receiver to be
recognized.
• The connection between keyboard and receiver fails.
cMake sure the (Connect) indicator turns on.
• The receiver is not connected to the computer.
cConnect the receiver to the computer.
• The receiver is not recognized by the computer.
cDisconnect the receiver cable from the computer’s USB
port, then reconnect it.
cCheck the distance between the keyboard and the receiver.
Place the keyboard and receiver within the communication
range given in the specifications. If used on a metal table
or if there are metal objects near the keyboard, the usable
distance may be shorter.
cMake sure that there are batteries in the keyboard.
Insert the batteries into the keyboard properly, and press
the CONNECT button on the receiver. Then, within 10
seconds, press the CONNECT button on the keyboard.
Make sure that the keyboard is close to the receiver
(within 11.8 in. or 30 cm) when you press the button.

computer’s keyboard and those on this unit may vary.
